Join us for a scouting talent extravaganza! Have any of your group got a talent? Sing, dance, play an instrument, do magic, or even balloon modeling! Whatever the talent we are dedicating the event to showing off that talent. Winners of the various sections will get to perform on the main stage in front of everyone and maybe get on the TV or radio. To celebrate the Queens Jubilee and, of course, the extra holiday we have put together a terrific programme starting on Friday 1st June until Tuesday 5th June 2012. The main theme for the event will be ‘Scouts (and Guides) Got Talent’ with entries for a range of entertainment categories. Solo or groups are encouraged to enter the competition and ‘get to strut their stuff or do their thing’ in front of our judges. Winners will perform live on the main stage in the grand final. The winner(s) will receive a prestigious trophy and collect £100 in cash for their group. | Not only are we running the entertainment programme but there will be activities every day (10:00-12:00 and 14:00-16:00) from our wide range of activities. In addition there will be Twilight zone activities each evening which will include discos, camp fires, games and sports.
There is something for all ages and whether you choose to enter the ‘Scouts Got Talent’ competition or just come to experience the wide range of adventurous activities we are sure you will have a great time at Walesby Forest Scout Centre.
