As a not for profit organisation we are able to develop and deliver great opportunities for staff who join us. Year on year we aim to offer permanent jobs to those who wish to develop their career and we also provide a great training and development programme.
If you join us we know you will not only have a great experience, lots of fun but also enjoy a great staff activity programme where you can for example shoot clays, drive quads through the forest, Kayak down the river, Rock climbing in Peak District as all of our staff enjoy our free and varied social programme.
No formal qualifications are required and full training will be given by our experienced team. You will be enrolled on our Apprenticeship programme and gain recognised sporting qualifications (NGBs) and an NVQ in Activity Leadership. These may include the following: Rifles, Archery, Kayaks, Climbing, Fencing, Pool Lifeguard, Health & Safety and more.
You may also develop Bushcraft Skills (Ray Mears Style) and learn CSI skills.
Whatever your background we are sure that with the training and support everyone has the ability to succeed.
If you have experience of Scout or Guiding or working or volunteering with young people this will be an advantage, but is not essential. You will need plenty of energy, diplomacy and the ability to relate and confidently communicate.
